The earliest Airboats date back to 1915 and were first used by the British Army in World War I during the Mesopotamian Campaign. Flat-bottomed and rapid, they are used as a means of navigating bodies of water too shallow for a standard submerged propeller engine. Supplied unassembled and unpainted in kit form with full instructions. Any models or accessories shown are for scale purposes only and are not included. |
