The Greenleaf Boarding House
With its faded green frontage and hopeful sign promising “Clean Linen – 2¢ per Night,” the Greenleaf Boarding House offers weary travellers their first taste of comfort after miles of dust and danger. Prospectors, drifters, travelling salesmen and widows all pass through its narrow halls, leaving behind muddy boots, tired dreams and more than a few secrets.
The house is run by Agnes Greenleaf, a quiet, watchful woman who knows every guest by name — and usually by reputation. She keeps the sheets clean, the rooms cheap, and the questions to herself, but nothing escapes her notice. In a town like Redrock Falls, knowing who is staying where can be worth more than gold, and Agnes trades carefully in information as well as lodging.
Many folk come to the Greenleaf just looking for a bed. Some leave with new plans, new enemies… or never leave at all.
