Add the stonework

Stone stencils for your Borders buildings

Use Block Stone or Rough Stone to add painted stone patterns to the walls of your cottages, longhouse and church.

The reusable Mylar stencils work with drybrushing and other painting methods. Choose an individual pattern, or pick Stencil Set 1 for eight patterns, including both stone stencils.

For raised detail, the Stone Cladding Pack is also in the collection.

Take your Reivers out on a raid

Border Wars: Under a Reiver Moon is a skirmish game set among the raiding families of the sixteenth-century Borders.

Choose foot fighters, mounted Reivers and the characters who travel with them. Families, livestock, a houndsman and the March Warden add more people and objectives to the settlement.

Start with the printed rulebook and card set, then choose your miniature packs separately.

Put together your own force

The printed rules, then your miniatures

The rulebook comes with the printed game cards. Choose your models on foot or mounted, and check each pack for its bases and character profile cards.

Before you play: the rulebook does not include miniatures, tokens or terrain. Figure packs vary in their printed profile cards; check the contents of each listing. Miniatures need assembly and painting.

Before the next raid

A few details to help you choose the right sets.

What comes with the printed rulebook?

The 91-page A4 rulebook comes with 30 Special Ability cards, ten Event cards and twelve Heroic Action cards. Miniatures, game tokens and terrain are separate.

Do all miniature packs include printed profile cards?

No. Check each listing. Veterans of the Land, The Daring Escape, Keepers of the House and Border Ba Brothers do not include printed profile cards; their profiles must be downloaded separately from Flags of War.

Are the buildings and miniatures supplied painted?

No. The RAW MDF kits and metal figures need assembly and painting. Product photographs show examples of finished models. Glue, paints, scenic basing and separately added textured roofing are not included.

Does Stencil Set 1 include both stone patterns?

Yes. It includes Block Stone and Rough Stone, plus six other stencil patterns. You can also buy the two stone stencils individually. Stencils are painting tools and are sold separately from the building kits.
