Our Russian windmill is of an early post-based design where the barn section at the top rotates around a central post moving the sails into the best place to catch the wind. Needing to rotate it was constructed to be very light housing only the windmill mechanism and because of this, it was unlikely to be used to store grain or flour. With this in mind, it would look good on a tabletop next to one of our Russian Village Barns. This kit would make an excellent addition to WWII and Cold War 28mm scale wargaming tables or dioramas with an Eastern European setting. Supplied unassembled and unpainted in kit form with full instructions. Any models or accessories shown are for scale purposes only and are not included. |
