Side by side on Main Street stand two of the most important businesses in Redrock Falls. S. Sergent’s General Store keeps the town supplied with flour, tools, lamp oil and ammunition, while next door the Pioneer Meat Market provides the fresh cuts that keep miners, ranchers and drifters on their feet.
Silas Sergent runs his store with a friendly smile and a ledger full of secrets. Newcomers buy their first supplies here, while old hands quietly settle debts and trade in rumours as easily as coin. Sergent always knows who owes what — and who’s starting to feel the pressure.
Behind the meat market’s fogged windows, cleavers fall and sawdust is swept, and few people ask too many questions about where the cheapest cuts come from. Together, the two shops keep Redrock Falls fed, armed, and just barely honest — which is all a frontier town can ever really hope for.
