100x60mm Chariot / War Machine Base (SAG)
A 100x60mm rounded rectangular base selected as a practical footprint for chariots, wagons, artillery, war machines and similar large specialist models found across the SAGA Universes.
Why this footprint? Several SAGA supplements define specialist models by permitted footprint envelopes rather than by one compulsory base. We compared those rules and FAQs with the actual space needed by common 28mm chariots, wagons and war machines, then looked at player practice. 100x60mm emerged as a useful middle-ground: large enough to mount the model cleanly and tell a small scenic story, but not so large that the base becomes awkward simply because the rules allow a bigger envelope.
The base uses our standard R4 rounded-corner profile. We present 100x60mm as a Sarissa-recommended compatible footprint, not as an official universal SAGA base size. Check the requirements for the exact specialist unit and Universe you are playing.
