80x50mm Creature Base (SAG)
A 80x50mm rounded rectangular base developed for larger creatures, quadrupeds, flying creatures and similar specialist models that benefit from a longer footprint.
Why this footprint? Rather than simply adding another arbitrary rectangle to the catalogue, we looked at the footprint envelopes used for specialist SAGA models, the dimensions of commonly available 28mm miniatures and the solutions players are already using. An 80x50mm footprint gives a large creature useful length for the model and scenic treatment while remaining compact enough to manoeuvre sensibly during play.
The corners use our standard R4 rounded-corner profile, giving the base a softer finished appearance and reducing vulnerable sharp corners. This is a Sarissa-recommended compatible footprint, not an official compulsory SAGA base size; check the requirements for the particular unit and Universe you are using.

Material options: 2mm MDF or 3mm MDF.
