Guard House for S.T.A.L.K.E.R by Johan Van Ooij
Johan Van Ooij, known as Gunbird, converted our N136 Guard House / Bike Shelter for the Research Complex in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. He replaced the flat roof, shortened the awning and added gates made from spare railings.

Johan replaced the brick columns with flare sticks left over from New Year’s Eve and trimmed the awning into a smaller, tilted shape.
When he came back to the build several months later, the roof had warped. Johan explains what he did next:
“So I grabbed the foamcutter and card and made a new, angled roof. Fully reversable if I want to.”

The smaller details
Spare railings from the 15mm Factory Chimney became gates. Johan added a chain to hold them shut and made the round “lock” with a hole punch.
The side was left open for a concrete wall Johan planned to add.
